Meet Cypress

Hello, I’m Cypress. When I enrolled at Ashmead College in 1999, I knew that the important work of massage would be the door that led to everything else in my life — and since then, it has indeed continued to be a deep passion for me.

After graduation, I started working in a busy chiropractic office in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle. My long-term working relationship with the chiropractors in that practice gave me a multi-layered understanding of the human body.

During my sixteen years of employment at that clinic, I had the opportunity to hone my therapeutic massage and injury treatment skills. I also spent the majority of these years on a shamanic path, learning the old ways of healing from several different elders.

The importance of continuing education is paramount in the continuation of the meaningful work of healing, and the additional education I have pursued includes courses in Thai massage, QiGong, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Craniosacral Therapy and Myofascial Release.

To this point, my journey has taught me that education and self-care are essential for optimal health and healing. That knowledge and my practical, daily injury treatment led me to open my own practice in 2014. I welcome you to that practice and to the healing that can happen between us.
